If you want to copy content you have read somewhere, such as a recipe, here is how I would copy and paste content using an IBM-compatible computer.
CTRL-V (to paste the text you have copied)

You could also do screenshots of the pages, but that is a little limiting.
Place your cursor on the page you want to copy.
CTRL-A (to select everything on a page)
What are some funny and smart quotes?
Place your cursor on a blank document, which is where you are going to paste what you have copied.
CTRL-C (to copy what you have highlighted)
If you cannot actually copy the content, you could copy the link to the information. I do this all the time with Instagram stories.
